A Night Out in Coventry was an interactive project working with the older generation of Coventry and the Herbert collection.

Moving Here provided online access to a vast range of material relating to migration to England.

For the 2006 Festival of Muslim Cultures The Herbert worked with young Muslim men to explore faith issues through a visual arts and media project.
 
Coming to Coventry

The Coming to Coventry project recorded and celebrated the stories of the pioneers who established the city's South Asian community.
 
What is Art
Project participants created a short film based on shadows
What Is Art? introduced young people to the work of different artists and gave them opportunities to experiment with a range of materials and techniques.

Empire at War project recorded the wartime experiences of Coventry people from black and Asian backgrounds.
 
Asian Cinema Exhibition
The Ritz cinema was an important social centre for Coventry's Asian families in the 1960s
Coventry has a long tradition of Asian cinema and the Kabhi Ritz Kabhie Palladium project recorded the stories of this important but little-known aspect of local life.
 
Vibes
Young people record their own work on the Vibes urban music project
The Vibes project gave young people the chance to explore the history of urban music by working with artists and musicians.
 
Inshuti - Friend
Two men – friends in a Rwandan landscape
Inshuti – Friend was an accessible exhibition that examined the role of friendship in the rebuilding of Rwanda since the genocide.
