The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum offers many hireable flexible spaces, coupled with our professional catering partners & in-house media experts, we will ensure your event is exceptional.
Our artistic & historical setting offers your guests a unique experience. Situated beneath the Herbert sits the Medieval Undercroft, a grade I 14th Century cellar with incredible vaulted ceilings. From its beginnings as a secure storeroom, it now offers a perfect opportunity for guided tours, themed events or an intimate dining experience.
Our collections truly reflect the history of Coventry in particular its importance during the Medieval, Victorian & Modern times. While our History Gallery showcases our relationship to those, our stores house incredible & intriguing objects & artworks.
Centrally located in the cultural heart of Coventry, the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is home to fascinating art and historical collections providing a unique backdrop for events. Featuring four contemporary meeting spaces ideal for 10-72 delegates and spectacular dining spaces for 30 – 140 guests, we offer a truly memorable experience.

Whilst on the Coventry inner ring-road, turn off at Junction 3 or 5 and follow the brown signs for Museum. There are several Pay & Display car parks available within walking distance. For directions using sat-nav or route planners use the postcode CV1 5QP. Alternatively a park and ride service for the city centre is operated from War Memorial Park.
