Rosie Addenbrooke joined the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in 1998 and became Senior Exhibitions & Events Officer in 2003. She leads the Exhibitions and Events Team and is responsible for the programming and project management of a diverse programme of temporary exhibitions and events.
The completion of the Herbert’s redevelopment in 2008 has created more opportunities to work with major art galleries and museums, bringing in touring exhibitions from organisations such as the V&A, the British Museum, the Natural History Museum and the National Galleries of Scotland. The Exhibitions & Events team works with artists, arts organisations, curators, community groups and many other individuals and organisations to produce high quality exhibitions and a wide range of stimulating talks, workshops and activities.
Rosie has a background in art history and a postgraduate Museum Studies qualification. She has worked in a variety of interpretation and education roles in museums and galleries and was education officer at Wolverhampton Art Gallery before joining the Herbert.
