Football Programme, 2005
Goodbye Highfield Road 1899-2005
The RICOH is a stunning stadium but Highfield Road will always have a special place in the heart of Coventry people. I was unable to go to this emotional match but have selected this programme for my friend and father, lifelong season ticket holders who wouldn't have missed this game for the world. I have fond memories of accompanying them to first team and reserve games in the 70s and 80s watching players such as Ian Wallace, Jim Blyth, Terry Gibson, Dave Bennett and Cyrille Regis. Happy days!

Football Programme, 2005
This is a souvenir programme from the last match played at Coventry City's Highfield Road ground. The match took place on 30 April 2005 and Coventry beat Derby County 5-1. Coventry's players signed this copy of the programme.
Coventry City was founded in 1883 as Singers FC, the works team of the Singer cycle company. The club changed its name to Coventry City in 1898 and moved to Highfield Road a year later. City won promotion to Division 1 in 1967 and won the FA Cup in 1987. They now play at the Ricoh Arena.
