The histories of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people have often been ignored and this project aims to uncover stories which have not previously been heard. Through a series of interviews with local people we are recording the political, social and domestic activities of the LGBT community in Coventry over the years, and changing attitudes towards LGBT issues. The interviews will be used to create a community history film, and the recordings will be added to the other oral history archives in the Herbert's History Centre.
