The core team that makes up Herbert Media consists of five dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic members of staff. These people, with a plethora of knowledge and interests, continously draw upon their varied histories to provide exciting and innovative projects for both the public, other organisations, and the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum.
Statement from Steven Crisp (My time training at the Herbert)
Media trainee Steve has been at the Herbert since June 2010 and assures us that in that time he's learnt lots of interesting stuff relevant to his qualifications and been given a better idea of what its like to work as a media employee . Steve recently graduated with an Illustration Degree from Coventry University and has been putting his academic skills to immediate practical use through a variety of projects, including caricaturing the media team.

Richard Elms [Senior Creative Media Officer] |
With a stimulating eight year long background in events management and music promotions working with acts such as the Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, and The Libertines, Richard is no stranger to the music and media industry. Before joining Herbert Media in August 2006, Richard embarked on a stint teaching Music and Media at City College Coventry but now spends his time managing and coordinating the creative media department, offering his expertise through innovative projects, productions and courses and allowing the "others" to be creative; which he says makes "a nice change" from working with the likes of Pete Doherty!
