These resources introduce learners to domestic and community life in Coventry over the last 600 years.

The Herbert's History gallery contains a wealth of objects from the past, covering topics such as the home, leisure activities, working life and education. Using chronologically themed discovery trails, learners can improve their literacy skills while learning more about Coventry's history. Archive films about the 20th century rebuilding of the city develop listening comprehension skills and there are lots of opportunities for making cross-cultural links.
