HISTORY - Discover industrial changes in Victorian Coventry


Suitable for KS2

Timing: 1 hr 30 mins; including a 45 minute facilitated session and 45 minute independent visit to the galleries

Cost: £70 per session 
         £60 for Coventry local authority schools

Inspired by the beautiful museum ribbon collections, this session gives your pupils the opportunity to learn about the ribbon industry in Victorian Coventry and the life of a ribbon weaver.

Learning outcomes

Through attending this session your children will build on the following skills:

  • Improved speaking and listening skills through group discussion and interaction
  • A better understanding of chronology & improved knowledge and understanding of events, people and changes in the past
