The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum's BBC Walking with Beasts Exhibition has been wowing mammoth audiences over the summer holidays. Now people who haven't been to see it, or want to see it again can get an amazing 20% discount off their ticket prices.
All you need to do is take a copy of the special offer picture of our Cave Girl Fifi Fossil to reception when booking their tickets and they'll get 20% off the total ticket price for up to four people. This discount can not be used in conjunction with any other offer and is valid until 30 October (not applicable online).
Since the dinosaurs died out over 65 million years ago, our planet has been dominated by an amazing and diverse range of mammals. In 2001 the BBC brought a number of them back to life in their six-part series Walking with Beasts. Featuring large scale models including woolly mammoths, sabre tooth cats, and Neanderthal man, this exhibition promises to be as engaging as it is visually spectacular.
Using animation, touch screen computers and hands-on interactives this exhibition shows some of the science behind the series. Blue screen technology offers the opportunity for visitors to be transported back in time, and walk, on screen, with the beasts.
