Well, the awards season is now in full swing and the Herbert has already scooped two gongs at the Coventry Design Awards, held just before Christmas. They take place every two years and seek to acknowledge excellence in design for new and renovated buildings in and around Coventry. In the 2009 awards, the Herbert Project received nominations in a number of categories and scored the following successes: 

Winner in the Lighting/Public Art Category

Winner in the Renovation Category 

Commendation in the Environmental Improvement Category
