The History Gallery in the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum will be closed to the public between Friday 18 November and Tuesday 29 November for essential maintenance.
The gallery's other seven permanent displays, the History Centre and temporary exhibition George Shaw: I woz ere will be unaffected and open for visitors to enjoy FREE of charge.
The seven permanent displays contain family-friendly, state of the art interactives which will help adults and children learn more about the collections and why they're important.
Our visual arts collection is held in three galleries; the Sculpture Gallery, Old Masters and Art Since 1900. To find out about the history of Coventry people should take a look in the Peace and Reconciliation Gallery. Visitors can learn about the legend that made Coventry famous in Discover Godiva or come face to face with nature and natural history in Elements. What's in Store gives people the chance to delve a little deeper into the Herbert's collections.
