Photography and poetry combine to explore the continuity of Jewish life and the continuing impact of the Second World War. Artists Marion Davies and Jane Liddell-King discovered Torah Scrolls, looted during the Holocaust and later sold by the Czech state, being used in their synagogues. This led them to seek out survivors in Pardubice and discover connections in England. Faces in the Void uses the artistic presentation of factual evidence to the same powerful effect as Marion Davies solo exhibition Absence and Loss last year.
Faces in the Void will be closed to the public on 9 February between 2pm and 5pm.
