In the 13th century, lots of people from all over
the country and even from Europe came to Coventry
looking for work. The Priory was very powerful by
this time.
In this century, part of the Holy Trinity Church
was destroyed by fire (1257).
Bayley Lane was very different, as Coventry Castle
would have been standing nearby. |
