About Old Coventry Cathedral

This building is about 600 years old (14th century). It is built from sandstone.

It is named after St Michael - an angel who fought against the Devil. St Michael's was one of the biggest churches in the country and only became a cathedral in 1918.

The spire is the third tallest in England - around 88.5 metres high !
