About Saint Mary's Guildhall

This building was built for the guild of St Mary in 1342. It is made of sandstone, which is browny pink, and looks soft and warm.

Show Answer

Later on there was a court held here. The court would pass laws and sort out problems. The town’s money and treasures were kept safe here.

The Lady Godiva Procession has started from here for over three hundred years!
