About Bayley Lane
The name Bayley Lane may have come from 'bailey' which
is part of a castle. Coventry Castle was taken down
in the 12th century.
Lady Godiva and her procession have been coming down
this lane for hundreds of years.
The first Procession was in 1678 and the tradition
has continued ever since!
