About Holy Trinity Church

Holy Trinity is a very special medieval church.

It was built more than 800 years ago as a chapel for the priory. In 1665 the church spire was blown down in a storm and it had to be rebuilt! It is 71 metres high.

The glass in some of the windows was blown out during the second world war.
