Herbert’s Landscapes – COMPETITION UPDATE

Share YOUR photos – we want to keep our Herbert’s Landscapes competition going but understand that it might be difficult to go out and take beautiful shots due to the current situation.

Instead of limiting the competition to landscapes only, we have decided to extend the topic to ‘environments’ too. Part of the exhibition 'Quinn: A Journey' which this competition was inspired by, allows visitors to explore the foreign environment of the protagonist's room. The space is filled with Quinn's items, and excerpt from his diary - a respite in his long journey.

Help us see through your lens, and discover your story. We want to see what environments you can capture, in your home or garden, while the sun is rising or during the middle of night – show us your best shots!

Let us know the story behind the image too – where and when did you take it, and what inspired you to capture that moment? Images with a good story have a better chance of winning!

To submit, simply post your photographs on social media, and make sure to tag us into your snaps on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use the following hashtag:

#Herbertslandscapes and #HerbertsEnvironments

Previous submissions to #HerbertsLandscapes will still be included in the prize draw.

The competition runs from 2 March – 18 May. The winner will be announced on Monday 25 May. The winner will receive a goodie bag worth of £100.

Disclaimer: Herbert’s Landscapes is an independent competition organized by the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. It is not affiliated or organized by any other entity.
