Dippy the Dino Parties!
Children's Parties | Available on weekends only
£200 for 2 hours for up to 20 children.
With optional catering and party bags available as additional extra costs.
FOR AGES 3-11 BUT ALL ARE WELCOME
Give your child’s birthday party a Jurassic twist, with our Dippy the Dinosaur themed celebrations. Children will love this unique experience in a museum setting, where they will encounter the Nation’s favourite dinosaur from the Natural History Museum; take part in activities led by our learning team; and capture some great photo opportunities with our walking Dippy character.
We will provide all materials for the activities, bunting for decorations, a ‘Have a ROAR-some Birthday’ selfie frame for fun themed party photos and ‘Thank you for coming to my party stickers’ for each child as they leave.
Catering & Party Bags:
Party food catering and party bags can be added on as additional extras. See costs below:
Party food boxes - £6 per child, (birthday cake not included).
Party bags - £3, £5 or £8 per child depending on content of bags

Morning Timetable:
10:00am – 10:30am – party family arrive and set up any personal decorations and food (if self-catering).
10:30am – 10:45am - party participants arrive at Bayley Lane entrance, coats, bags, presents loaded onto coat racks.
10:45am – 11:00am – Time with Dippy, facilitated by our expert team to deliver a short talk and answers questions, plus photo op for party group.
11:00am – 11:45am – clay dino sculptures activity led by our learning team, providing all children with a creative, hands-on experience, plus a special keep's sake to take home.
11:45am – 12:00pm – aprons away, wash hands and photo op with inflatable dippy.
12:00pm – 12:30pm – party food, cake and happy birthday song
12:30pm – party participants depart. Family has until 1:00pm to clear space of presents, personal decorations and food (if self-catering).
Afternoon Timetable:
1:00pm – 1:30pm – party family arrive and set up any personal decorations and food (if self-catering).
1:30pm – 1:45pm - party participants arrive at Bayley Lane entrance, coats, bags, presents loaded onto coat racks.
1:45pm – 2:00pm – Time with Dippy, facilitated by our expert team to deliver a short talk and answers questions, plus photo op for party group.

2:45pm – 3:00pm – aprons away, wash hands and photo op with inflatable dippy.
3:00pm – 3:30pm – party food, cake and happy birthday song
3:30pm – Party participants depart. Family has until 4:00pm to clear space of presents, personal decorations and food (if self-catering).
