The health and safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff is our number one priority.
Following updates from the Government and guidelines from Public Health England in relation to Coronavirus (Covid-19), Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is temporarily closed to the public from 4.00pm on Wednesday 18 March 2020.
We understand at times such as this, it is more important than ever, to continue access to arts and culture. Although we are unable to offer physical interactions, we will be working hard to develop and share engaging content via our social media channels.
If you have booked tickets for any of our upcoming events, we will be in touch with you shortly.
Thank you for your support during these difficult times.
Gallery Redevelopment News
As part of our preparations for City Of Culture 2021, Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is redeveloping several gallery spaces. The works will mean that some objects are no longer on permanent display, but it also provides an opportunity to display more of our artworks and ensure we are able to deliver exhibitions of an even higher standard moving forward.
