Archives

Coventry History Centre is the place to research local and family history, using large collections of historical material, including the City's Archives.

The History Centre collects and cares for both historical and modern records. These reflect the diversity of the past and present experiences of Coventry's citizens. Whatever your interests, we have material that will bring you closer to history as it happened.

Archives are a unique record of the past. They come in many shapes and forms, from parchment, paper documents, books and photographs to sound recordings and digital records. Visit us to see if we can help you find the answers to your research questions.
