October Half-term 2022
Join us for magic, mischief and Modroc this October half-term with a new art masterclass and daily drop-in crafts activities for children running throughout the school break. Find out more about what's coming via the links below.
Ready to create some marvellous makes? Transform mason jars into enchanted forests, lighten up dark evenings with hand-crafted lanterns and craft your own mischievous masks at our daily drop-in sessions.
Designed for ages 3+, sessions cost £2.50 per child. See the full schedule here.

Get messy with this versatile material! Using items inspired by the theme of ‘Magic and Mischief' from our permanent collections, children will create their own sculptures to take home, guided by our expert learning team.
Aimed at ages 8-14. Tickets cost £10 per child and must be booked in advance.
To mark the release of Liz Pichon's Tom Gates: Happy To Help, Kids in Museums has joined forces with Scholastic and Priority from O2 to create a free Mega Museum Challenge activity pack for kids!
Copies of the pack will be available to pick up from our welcome desk from 20 October until 20 November. You can also take part in a competition by sharing your museum doodles on Twitter or Instagram. Read more.
