You Should Go Back is a collaborative exhibition by Prashant Kansara and Kushag Patel that reflects upon the resurgence of the far-right in Britain, the emotional impacts of its legacy of division, and the urgent need for resistance.
Inspired by the book Racist Tones (Goldsmiths/Herbert, 2021), the artworks reveal the scars racism leaves upon marginalised communities in Britain from perspectives that are largely overlooked.
The exhibition calls on audiences to reflect, unite and act against the renewed spread of hate, urging solidarity with those facing discrimination today and advocating for healing, inclusion, and belonging within contemporary Britain.
