What's On

Herbert Lates feat. The Mee Club

On one night a month the Herbert opens its doors for an exciting evening of art, music, drinks, talks, performance, and history inspired fun.

This month our events will be inspired by Grayson Perry and his works. From clay to textiles there will be lots to play with and lots to see with all the galleries open for you to enjoy.

Don’t miss the Mee Club! Coventry’s own true life storytelling event where you’ll hear tales to delight, enthral, excite and entertain.

To complement the city-wide Positive Images Multi-cultural Festival this month our theme is City of Faces.

Arriving, leaving, worries and welcomes. The kindness of strangers. Stories of families and friends, neighbours and workmates. Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. People you have loved, lost or left behind. People you met only for a moment but...

If you’d like to share a story of your own then you can find out how to here, where there's information about pre-pitching your story to guarantee your place or the option to turn up on the night and be given a slot if there's one free.

If you would like to tell a story but feel like you need a little guidance, you can book onto the workshop the week before here.

Tonight’s show will be hosted by Cat Weatherill and Kristina Gavran with special guest storytellers Tom Phillips and Jane Campion Hoye.

Different every time, bring your friends and join us after hours.

Herbert Lates are for strictly over 18’s.

Let us know that you're coming so we can save you a place, book your place here.
