Outreach Sessions for Secondary Schools
Our Learning Team can visit your school to deliver a Creative Careers talk and presentation, to give students in KS3, 4 & 5 an overview and insight to the various roles within museum and gallery settings. Students will learn about career pathways into the arts sector and hear real life experiences from the Learning Officer delivering the presentation. We encourage questions and will be honest with our answers as your students enquire about the highs and lows of working in the creative industry.
Cost: £50 for a 30 minute presentation with time for questions. This presentation can be delivered to a whole year group in an assembly style setting, or for individual classes.
We can visit your school to deliver a 20 minute assembly, suitable for KS1 & 2, called Coventry Firsts, at a cost of £50 per assembly.
The assembly is a great opportunity for pupils to be introduced to the different museums across Coventry, taking on an appreciation for their city’s heritage and local landmarks. It then has a focus on celebrating Coventry Firsts: pioneers, unsung heroes and fascinating facts. Delivered using a PowerPoint presentation with images, sounds and video clips.
