Description

Playfully explore modern-day appliances with real tools and reinvent them into futuristic appliances of your own design. Aimed at ages 11 - 16, this hands-on workshop gives kids a chance to learn about reverse engineering and basic electronic circuits, while developing tool skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking. As part of this 3-hour workshop, all participating children will receive lunch, served from the museum café, Esquires. Please let any food allergies be known at the time of booking. Parents are not required to stay for the duration of this workshop, but are welcome too, should they wish to.

HAF spaces are available at this MicLab workshop. HAF is the Holiday and Activities Food Programme, from Coventry City Council. If your child receives free school meals and lives in Coventry, they should be eligible.
