Craig Munro is visual artist based in Leamington Spa, whose practice explores contemporary painting, drawing and mixed media. The work centres around material exploration, surface, and the dynamic relationship between colour and form. Working intuitively, Munro's practise reflects an interest in process, balance and the physical qualities of paint and mark-making.
Circles emerge as a central motif - simultaneously finite and infinite, marking beginnings and endings while suggesting eternity. From the shape of the Earth, the Sun a flower and a cell - we are all connected to this world we live in.
