Inspired by the exhibition Stories That Made Us, the workshop invites participants to explore envelopes of archival materials that bring together both national records from The National Archives and local South Asian materials from Coventry Archives, Virk Collection.

Artist and co‑curator of Stories That Made Us Hardish Virk will join us on the day and offer an optional 20‑minute exhibition tour during lunch.

In the afternoon, participants will transform their discoveries into creative responses through blackout poetry with Stories That Made Us Archives Assistant & Poet, Shaniece Martin.

Open to all – no experience needed, just bring your curiosity!
