Looking for something fun and creative to do with the family this half term?
Join us at the Herbert Art Gallery for an exciting series of hands-on craft activities inspired by portraits with new unique interpretations, led by the imaginations and creativity of the next generation of artists (that’s our young visitors by the way!).
Children and adults alike can:
- Create colourful cardboard collage faces – mix and match shapes, textures, and patterns to design your own unique characters.
- Explore pastel portraits – learn simple techniques to bring your people to life with soft, vibrant pastels.
- Discover inspiration from art – see how professional artists capture personality and expression, then try it yourself!
All materials are provided, and our friendly team will guide you every step of the way. Whether your little ones are budding artists or you’re looking for a fun family activity, there’s something for everyone.
