As anticipation builds for NASA's Artemis II mission in 2027, Into the Blue Again celebrates humanity's enduring curiosity and desire to explore.
Inspired by childhood memories of Yuri Gagarin's historic spaceflight and witnessing Neil Armstrong's Moon landing, Warwickshire-based artist David Troughton presents mixed-media works drawing on decades of collected imagery from science books, comics, magazines and newspapers. Influenced by Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns, the exhibition explores the visual excitement of space exploration.
Born in Coventry in 1951, Troughton has exhibited internationally, with recent solo exhibitions at Gallery 64a, Whitstable, and LTB Showrooms, Coventry.
