What's On

What’s the craic?!

Join us for a lively evening of fun to mark the opening of our new exhibition, Irish Heart, Coventry Home.

Enjoy extracts from original plays on the evening, written by Kathi Leahy for Shaskeen Arts Organisation. Tamla Kari, who attended Leahy’s St Finbarr’s Youth Arts programme and has since appeared in The Inbetweeners Movies, The Muskateers, and most recently Call the Midwife will once again act in Leahy’s plays as part of a special one-off performance.

Joe O’Donnell’s Shkayla will perform a collection of their songs during the evening.  Renowned for fusing Celtic and more modern styles, violinist Joe is a pioneer of Irish music who has recorded with artists such as Thin Lizzy and Rory Gallagher. His album ‘Gael’s Vision 40th Anniversary Edition' launches later this year.

Nuala Pinson will be telling haunting ghost stories in the medieval undercroft and Malachy Cairns will be playing traditional music during the evening.

There will be plenty more to see and do on the night, so why not join us and be one of the first to see this exciting new exhibition.

The bar will be open on the night but visitors of all ages are welcome to attend.

Ghost stories will be repeated throughout the evening and the plays will be performed twice.
