GRAIN Photographer's Talk - Kate Peters

In February, March and April 2019 we will be hosting Artists Talks curated by GRAIN Projects in collaboration with Coventry University.   The evening talks are to be given by internationally critically acclaimed artists who work in photography and fine art. 

Kate Peters 

A photographer originally from Warwickshire Kate’s work has been exhibited internationally including at HPGRP New York.  In 2012 the Guardian Weekend Magazine commissioned her to photograph 32 Olympians including Chris Hoy and Mo Farah.  A selection of Kate’s portraits are in the National Portrait Gallery, London.  In 2013 she won an award from the Royal Photographic Society and the Freshfields Prize at the Renaissance Awards.  In 2018 she made work in the Midlands, including in Coventry for SIXTEEN.  This is to be exhibited at Format International Photography Festival 2019.
