Dreamerfly and other stories: A 45-minute experimental live performance

Dreamerfly and other stories is an immersive 45-minute expanded and experimental live performance combining multi-screen animation, overhead projectors, a small handcrafted installation and contemporary jazz music.

This talk will be an online only event, and it will take place through Microsoft Teams. Attendees will receive a link to join the session.

It has been developed and will be presented by visual artist Shiyi Li, British jazz musicians James Owston and Daniel Kemshell and American percussionists Lindsey Eastham and Gloria Yehilevsky. Presented from the perspective of a Chinese woman having migrated to a Western country, it will explore the awakenings brought on by culture differences.
