Please note, this activity is not suited for children under the age of 11, and is available only to those with a HAF eligibility number from Coventry City Council.

We are pleased to be delivering activity this festive season as part of Coventry City Council’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme. Festive screen printing and block tile printing, will give older children and teenagers the opportunity to learn new creative skills, and make artistic products to keep, or giveaway as gifts during the Christmas period. Those taking part will be guided by a local screen-printing artist, to learn how to design and make stencils that will be used for screen printing onto cards, wrapping paper and tote bags. They will use professional, artist tools to turn their designs into real products.

There will also be an alternative style of printing available for participants to try, using a method of block printing with polystyrene tiles, allowing them to experience the varying effects of printmaking when using different art practices. The experiences gained during these Art Masterclasses are unique and not easily done at home or at school.

Included as part of their day is a healthy meal, snacks and drinks.
