Inspiring Change - Movers and Makers Teachers Conference

A twilight conference for teachers, arts practitioners, engineers and educationalists

Movers and Makers is a new initiative for Coventry that supports teacher-led, arts-based innovations that improve children’s learning and development in primary school. This twilight conference for teachers, arts practitioners, engineers and educationalists is a practical, interactive event that places the arts as a central learning tool for all subjects.

Respected arts organisations Imagineer, Open Theatre Company and Highly Sprung lead a series of activities, giving the skills and confidence to develop arts-based practices in school. Share ideas, experiences, resources and aspirations that will improve arts-based learning for Coventry’s pupils.

Participants will also be introduced to the wider hopes for Coventry’s Movers and Makers programme.
