Into the Wild: Easter Half Term

13th - 27th April (excluding Sundays)

Get creative with wildlife themed activities this Easter as we explore ‘Under the Sea’ (week 1) and ‘Wild Beasts’ (week 2) during the school break. With a variety of activities throughout the Easter holiday there will be plenty to keep you entertained.

Daily Activities

Saturday 13: Sea Scene Prints – Learn printing techniques using foam tiles and lots of colour to make an under the sea artwork.

Wednesday 17: Wonderful Whale Sun Catchers – Using stunning images from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition as inspiration, create a beautiful sun catcher using contact paper.

Thursday 18: Wonderful Whale Sun Catchers

Friday 19: Sparkly Scaly Clay Fish – Discover the magnificence of tropical sea life and make a fish out of clay, adding super shiny sequins to make those scales stand out.

Saturday 20: Sparkly Scaly Clay Fish

Monday 22: Roller Painted Tigers – Join us for this super fun activity, where you will make a painted tiger using paint and marbles. While the tiger dries create a jungle collage for the background.

Tuesday 23: Roller Painted Tigers 

Wednesday 24: Clay Creatures – Get crafty with clay and create a wild beast of your choice. Will it be a bear, a lion, a tiger or a gorilla? Explore the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition for inspiration.

Thursday 25: Clay Creatures 

Friday 26: Roaring Rag Lion – Make a majestic Lion’s head using paper plates, collage and adding a mane of hair made from fabric rags.
