Treasured Tales Online: Faiths and Factories

Coventry Archives Online Talk and Q&A with Eleanor Nesbitt

From Cistercians and medieval wool production to Zoroastrians and Jaguar Land Rover, this talk shows how people of many religious backgrounds and beliefs have brought industry to Coventry and how Coventry’s factories have, in turn, attracted members of very different faith communities to the city. Stained glass, dyeing, ribbon-weaving, metal-work, cars and motor-cycles all relate to Coventry’s religious history.

This talk will take place through Microsoft Teams. Attendees will receive a link to join the session. The pre-recorded talk will be shown followed by a Q&A with Eleanor Nesbitt.
