Our latest Art Masterclass instalment will provide participants with the opportunity to create a mini hand stitched banner to influence social change and take home and display in their community. Included in this 2-hour workshop there will be a short tour by our learning team to take you into the Be Yourself; Everyone Else is Already Taken touring exhibition from globally renowned artist Daniel Lismore, an opportunity to inspire your budding artist to consider what social causes move them. Under the guidance of a textile artist, participants will bring their ideas to life through cross stitching their chosen messages; combining design, fabric, stitch and embellishment to understand gentle acts of change through art. Our series of art masterclasses are fantastic for encouraging creative minds and enhancing the skills of young artists.

Did you know we can support your child to achieve their Arts Award Discover if they are aged 5-11? Taking part in our school holiday activities and visiting our exhibitions helps them to do the majority of the work needed to complete their award.
