Join local and published illustrator, Jessica Hartshorn to develop illustration skills.

Designed for age 11 - 16
You will learn a range of techniques and skills to illustrate your own, book/comic or short story. The session will include character development, story boarding, developing backgrounds and planning your designs. Also, create a front cover on the day and take away all of the planning to create your book/comic in the future. With over 19 years experience in the cultural and heritage sector, Jessica Hartshorn (aka Jessi Illustrates) can help to bring to life heritage collections through bespoke illustrations, education resources, trails, games, colouring in and activity sheets. Taking part in our school holiday activities and visiting our exhibitions helps them to do the majority of the work needed to complete their award.
