Join us for Seasonal Saturday Crafts in the festive month of December.
We will craft delightful handmade decorations with a mixture of natural and manmade resources including pinecones, cloves, willow, twigs, twine, yarn, ribbon, glitter and colourful pipe cleaners. Take these delightful decorations home with you to hang on your Christmas tree, decorate a mantlepiece or gift to a friend as a Christmas keepsake.
Saturday 2 December – Fragrant Orange Pomanders:
In the spirit of festive Coventry join us in making pomanders and get creative by studding patterns into oranges with cloves. Finally embellish with a ribbon and take home to decorate your home or display on a table.
Saturday 9 December – Perfect Pinecones:
Find your sparkle this winter by taking inspiration from nature. Adorn pinecones with glitter, ribbons, and pom poms to create a playful decoration, to display in your home.
Saturday 16 December – Twinkle Stars:
Make your very own star, tree or initial by intertwining twigs and wrapping with twine, elastic bands and wire. Embellish your decoration with an abundance of glitter, wool and sequences and display by hanging with a colourful ribbon.
Saturday 30 December – Willow Wood Coasters:
A beautiful way of combining visual art and nature to go into the new year. Create your very own coasters using a selection of natural willow branch slices, and customize using a colourful array of acrylic paints and fine paint brushes. Take home and display your amazing textured art pieces.
