What's On

Festival of Imagineers

Various times and venues, see website for details

The Festival of Imagineers celebrates the links between art, design and engineering and this year’s themes are play and connectivity.

Walk alongside a large-scale balloon and sound installation, wonder at 1000 hoops suspended in the Cathedral, contribute your ideas to Imagineer’s next large-scale project, board a custom-converted double decker bus which turns the whole city into a stage and play the streets in a Festival Finale that invites everyone to come and play.

There will be a host of activities taking place at the Herbert and Transport Museum during the festival and a full programme can be found at

PROCESSIONS: Thousands of women took to the streets of London, Cardiff, Belfast and Edinburgh with hand-made banners to mark the achievements of the women’s suffrage movement.

Wheel Ways: Charting Coventry's plans to be a bikeable city.

Rear View: A unique interactive experience for all audiences where the streets of Coventry become part of the performance.

Drop-In Stitch Session: Learn kantha stitching, as seen in the Coventry Processions banners
